neighborhoodr-eastvillage: Submission by m vale: Does anyone have complaints about the transformer ‘hum’ noise coming from the ConEd substation on Avenue A? Please reblog/add your stories to this thread. Neighborhood? Anyone? Consequence of living next to a substation? I live adjacent to the substation and the hum has gotten increasingly louder this past week. What gives, Con Ed?!

This morning I got berated by a career counselor because apparently I am “lazy” and have don’t show “enthusiasm” because I would rather spend my summer on the beach than in a fluorescent-lit cubicle. On that note, does anyone know of a law firm or legal non-profit looking for non-lazy, motivated and very tan intern?
